Me: Personal Identity Calendar
The concept for the Me: Personal Identity Calendar began with researching identity (personal, gender, and sexual) specifically in the Pacific North West. Considering identity as an art form, the illustration style is meant to mimic profile line drawings that are popular in fine art mixed with messy humanistic blocks of color to represent the intricacies of identity. Intended for residents of the PNW especially those that identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. As a queer person, I often see myself in other queer people’s identities through queer coded style and wanted to create a year-long celebration of our community.
